Since I began my career years ago, many photographers have entered the scene.  I know that you have many choices and it can be a bit overwhelming selecting someone, so let me tell you a bit about myself!

My name is Tish and I am fortunate to have enjoyed 20 years of experience working as a professional photographer in the Bay Area in Northern California. I have always been passionate about photography and about people. I love the storytelling aspect of being a photographer! My goal is to capture timeless expressions and reflections of the heart of the individual or family that I am photographing. I have been told I have an uncanny ability to make my clients feel comfortable and relaxed within a very short time of stepping in front of my lens. I have also worked with children all my life and I am not afraid to do whatever goofy thing necessary to get that natural smile out of them that melts your heart! 

Prior to your photo shoot, we will begin our experience together with a design consultation. This is a great opportunity for us to get acquainted and discover your expectations and vision for your portraits. We will not only discuss details like clothing, backgrounds or locations that appeal to you, but I will also get to know a bit about you and/or your family members and their relationships with one another. This is key to help ensure that your portraits accurately represent your relationships and your family the way you envisioned they would!

Once your session is complete, I will get to work right away on the editing so that I can present your images to you! I usually suggest meeting in person to make your selections so that I can project your images on a large screen to help make the process easy for you.  I will be able to help advise you on sizes, finishes and framing so that they best compliment your home decor.  

I can also upload your images to a private gallery on my website for selection if meeting is not the best option for you or if you have family members that may not be able to attend to in person viewing.

Once you have made your selections, I will get started on the artistic preparation of your images for print by deluxe hand retouching each image. I really pride myself in my experience, talent and ability to take your thoughtfully captured images to the next level in the most natural way, transforming them into a beautiful work of art.
